The juvenile Investigator is responsible for follow-ups on all cases involving juveniles under the age of 17 whether they are victims or suspects in a crime. The investigator handles a number of complaints whether generated at school or throughout the City of Leesville. Investigators attend specialized training for dealing with all juveniles. It is the Department's mission to take the leadership role in providing services that protect the community for delinquent acts, to impose accountability for offenses committed, to equip juveniles and their families with the required competencies to lead productive lives, and to protect those that have been victimized by crimes.
